DUNCAN, Okla. (KFOR) - Investigators with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) are investigating an officer-involved shooting at the request of the Duncan Police Department.
According to OSBI, on September 30, officers responded to a call regarding shots fired at the Duncan Inn Motel, near North Highway 81 and Twisted Oaks Drive. Upon arrival, police located a male suspect who was armed with a gun.
Authorities say the suspect was given commands but did not comply and was shot.
The suspect was injured and transported to a local hospital, listed in critical condition, said OSBI officials.
The investigation is ongoing.
