Police are investigating after multiple shots were fired outside Ross Park Mall in Allegheny County on Tuesday night.

Ross Township Deputy Police Chief Brian Kohlhepp told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that officials were called to the mall at 7:55 p.m. following reports of gunshots being fired. Advertisement

Kohlhepp said gunfire was exchanged between multiple people in the parking lot between the Dick's Sporting Goods and Nordstrom store. An official number of those involved was not immediately made clear.

He said one person is believed to have been injured in the shooting and was later taken to a local hospital. A vehicle also appeared to have sustained damage.
