Unhappy MLB fans have the same complaint about ESPN’s broadcast for Game 1 of the New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox ALWCS.
ESPN has Karl Ravech and David Cone calling the highly anticipated Wild Card Series between the longtime rivals. The New York Yankees have home field advantage for the best-of-three, with the winner facing the AL East champion Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS.
But during tonight’s broadcast, the Worldwide Leader in Sports encountered multiple audio issues. One of the audio problems occurred after New York Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe opened the scoring with a solo shot in the second inning:
