HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- The University of Southern Indiana's Engineers in Action Chapter helped to construct pedestrian bridges in Southern Africa.
The chapter led a team of students to help build the bridges in Eswatini. The bridges help to provide year-round safe access for over 6,000 residents to cross a river and access resources.
Officials say the projects help to demonstrate the strength of the engineering program's ability to focus on real-world applications and build skills.
