Finalized numbers have revealed the Massachusetts State Lottery closed out fiscal year 2025 with $1.067 billion in net profit, its official fifth consecutive year of billion-dollar profits — despite a drop in overall revenue .
“Thanks to our customers, employees, and statewide retail partners, we were once again able to deliver over $1 billion to our cities and towns,” said Mark William Bracken, the Massachusetts State Lottery Executive Director, in a statement on Tuesday.
He added that the state offers “one of the strongest portfolios of games available to players,” and that “player success is at the heart of our operations.”
