BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The registration period is open for families wishing to participate in The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program.

The program provides Christmas gifts to children and families who face financial hardships. The goal is to make sure that every young person feels special during the holiday.

Registration opened on Monday, September 29, and will stay open through Friday, October 3. You can register between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day by going to The Salvation Army, which is located at 4025 Brookstown Drive in Baton Rouge. However, registration is closed between noon and 12:30 each day for lunch.
