Meeting Mildred

Mildred’s journey began when she was admitted to the Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialty Center . Her frail frame revealed her struggle: her ribs were visible, she was too weak to hold herself upright, and she was also battling Lyme disease.

Even in such heartbreaking shape, Mildred showed incredible determination. She clearly wasn’t ready to give up, but what she needed was someone to fight alongside her.
