Police are investigating after a 52-year-old woman was found dead in a Corona home hours after police arrested her boyfriend on suspicion of domestic violence.

Officers responded at 11:50 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, to a home in the 1700 block of Wren Avenue, where police forced entry after trying several times to contact someone inside, according to the Corona Police Department. That location is west of the 15 Freeway and north of Magnolia Avenue.

Police found Avery King with “multiple visible injuries” inside the home, but she turned down medical transportation and chose not to pursue prosecution, police said.
