EL DORADO SPRINGS, Mo. — A Cedar County man charged with sex crimes has been released from house arrest as he awaits trial.

Court records show Davis Long, 36, of El Dorado Springs, was charged in May with two counts of felony first-degree sodomy and two counts of felony armed criminal action.

The felony complaint alleges Long used a gun to sexually assault a juvenile male in incidents reported between February and May of 2020.

Long was booked into the Cedar County Jail on May 5 without bond. He was released June 17 with a $75,000 surety bond and house arrest conditions.

At a Sept. 26 case management conference, the court allowed Long to be released from house arrest but ordered him to maintain GPS monitoring and have no contact with any victims.
