EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - K.J. Torbert is set to announce his decision at East Lansing High School on Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET.
Torbert is now in his senior year with the Trojans and played a major part in helping East Lansing win the Division 1 state title in March.
Torbert is the son of former Michigan State guard Kelvin Torbert, who played at MSU from 2001 to 2005. K.J. now gets the opportunity to follow in his dad’s footsteps when he goes to play collegiate basketball next fall.
Torbert has offers from seven D1 schools and has narrowed down his list to Oakland University, Western Michigan and Bowling Green.
