The greatest disaster a nation can face is a supine submission to wrong and injustice. The consequences are loss of self-respect, dignity and honor – the very foundation of a nation’s greatness.

I submit this is the state of our nation this very day. We are squandering our greatness because of our acquiescence to the wrongs and injustices of our own government.

For more than 150 years, our laws prevented the military from participating in civilian law enforcement. But illegality has not stopped this administration. Our armed forces are patrolling the streets of our nation’s capital. The administration threatens to expand its abuse of power. This is not the way a great nation acts toward its citizens.
