RUSSELVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) - The Tobacco and Heritage Festival also known as homecoming for Logan Countians attracts an estimated 30,000 people yearly. The festival has been an ongoing tradition for over 80 years.

“Everybody comes together. Everybody’s downtown. People that you may not have seen since last year, you’ll see them downtown. People that have moved off know that this is the festival weekend, so they come back in,” said Brad Rogers, chairman of the Logan County Chamber of Commerce. It’s kind of like a great, big family reunion for Logan County."

Rogers describes it as “the festival that makes you love small town living.”

According to Rogers, there are over 30 events happening for the festival between Sept. 27 and Oct. 11.
