Red River's Ella Speidel and Alexis Fabian tie for third at state meet

FARGO — Grand Forks Red River senior Ella Speidel capped her high school golf career by helping the Roughriders to a fourth-straight top three finish at the North Dakota Class A state meet.

Sparked by Speidel and sophomore Alexis Fabian finishing in a tie for third place, Red River finished third after Day 2 of the state meet at the Fargo Country Club on Tuesday.

The Riders have finished third, first, second and second across the last four seasons at the state meet.
