LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A security company is advising Las Vegas Valley churches to form plans to protect churchgoers on the heels of the mass shooting in a Michigan church .
Protective Force International’s Security Chaplain Denny Valero said over the last few years, they have experienced an uptick in calls from church leaders asking for their help to secure their campus.
“The problems that we’re seeing have arisen within the last five years. That being said, so should our ability to counteract any issues,” Valero said.
The security company works with a handful of houses of worship in the valley. Valero said their needs vary based on the issues they’re experiencing and their size. They could provide an armed officer or help with infrastructure improvements.
