According to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson, the Detroit Lions are signing veteran cornerback Tre Flowers to their practice squad.

Flowers, 30, now joins his seventh NFL team after stints with the Seattle Seahawks -- who drafted him in 2018 -- along with the Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears.

Over his seven-year career, Flowers has recorded 287 tackles, four interceptions, five forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries in 95 games, including 44 starts. His addition gives the Lions another experienced defender they could call up in the coming weeks as the team manages a thin secondary.
