Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel present the award for lead actress in a comedy series during the 71st Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater on Sept. 22, 2019.

Three late-night television hosts united for a short and simple dig against President Donald Trump.

"The Late Show" host Stephen Colbert and "Late Night" star Seth Meyers joined Jimmy Kimmel on stage for a social media post captioned "Hi Donald!"

In a special talk show crossover, Colbert was a guest on the Sept. 30 episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" But the photo indicates that Meyers made a surprise appearance during the show's taping.

Like Kimmel, both Colbert and Meyers are critics of Trump and stood in solidarity with the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host after ABC briefly suspended the show following criticism from Trump-appointed Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr.

Carr echoed complaints from broadcasting giants Sinclair Broadcasting Group and Nexstar Media Group over Kimmel's controversial comments regarding the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk. On Sept. 26, both companies stopped preempting the talk show across its ABC stations after refusing to air the show even after Disney and ABC brought it back.

Colbert celebrated the return of Kimmel's show on a Sept. 22 episode of "The Late Show," where he said "our long, national late-nightmare is over."

"Wonderful news from my dear friend Jimmy and his amazing staff. You know, I’m so happy for them. Plus, now that Jimmy’s not being canceled, I get to enjoy this again," he said while flaunting the Emmy trophy he received after winning in the best talk series category on Sept. 14.

Trump has not withheld his disdain for Kimmel, Colbert or Meyers, celebrating the July cancellation of "The Late Show" and threatening to sue ABC after bringing "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" back on air. On Truth Social, Trump suggested Meyers and Jimmy Fallon, who both host shows on NBC, should be next.

"Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED. Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done," Trump wrote on Sept. 18. "Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible. That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!! President DJT"
