CINCINNATI, Ohio — Life without a healthy Joe Burrow has been bad for the Bengals offense the last two weeks.

The Bengals have scored just 13 points in blowout losses to the Vikings and Broncos, negating their 2-0 start to the season.

Backup quarterback Jake Browning has not played at the level he was in 2023 when he filled in adequately for an injured Burrow and kept the Bengals in the playoff mix towards the end.

And while there are calls for the Bengals to bring in another veteran quarterback to replace Browning, replacing him can only fix so much.
