The woman at the centre of a dramatic Jetstar mid-flight arrest has been unmasked in court, walking away with a fine after her drunken antics forced police to storm a plane.

Arabella O’Byrne was filmed strutting down the aisle of a Sydney-bound flight from Vanuatu in July, flanked by three Australian Federal Police officers as passengers watched in disbelief.

Footage showed her waving, smiling, and even poking her tongue out as she was marched off the aircraft.

Despite the spectacle, Ms O’Byrne faced the Downing Centre Court on September 17 and was handed what many will see as a shockingly light punishment.

One charge was dropped, and she was ordered to pay just $1 and placed on a 12-month good behaviour bond. No conviction was recorded, and no plea was entered over allegations of diso
