The Event Connected Students With Alumni, Resources, and LGBTQ+ Community

The UCLA Lambda Alumni Association hosted its annual Send-Off event on Sept. 20, 2025 , bringing together alumni and students at the UCLA James West Alumni Center for an afternoon of networking, games, and community building.

The event featured icebreakers, UCLA trivia, and opportunities for students to connect with peers and alumni while learning about key university resources, including the UCLA LGBTQ Campus Resource Center , UCLA Career Center , and various LGBTQ+ student organizations. The gathering also highlighted UCLA’s Williams Institute , a national leader in research on sexual orientation and gender identity law and public policy.
