GLOBE, AZ (AZFamily) — Flash flooding that tore through the Globe-Miami region on Friday killed at least three people and left widespread damage to the rural Gila County area.
It was a storm and a flood many in Globe say they had never seen in their lifetime and many didn’t have the right insurance for it either.
“As a child, I’ve dreamed of being the owner of La Casita one day, because it’s been in my family since 1947. And to finally achieve that and have this happen, it’s just catastrophic,” said Adrianne Villalobos.
