Auric Mining has become part of Western Australia’s gold processing scene after writing a cheque for the Burbanks gold processing facility 10 kilometres south of Coolgardie – all for a bargain-basement price tag of $4.4 million.

The deal, which was completed yesterday, hands Auric the keys to a fully permitted, 180,000-tonne-per-annum carbon-in-leach (CIL) plant complete with crushing and grinding circuits.

The acquisition also includes the equipment to complete the back-end processing stages, such as elution systems to strip the gold from the carbon, a gold room, lab and tailings storage - in fact, all the bells and whistles needed to go from pit to pour without third-party handholding.
