Lewis Dodd says he has no regrets about his ill-fated stint at South Sydney, declaring: “Not a day goes by that I felt I made the wrong decision.”

The Rabbitohs signed Dodd to a three-year, $2 million deal, but they parted company after the halfback made just six NRL appearances in his first year. Dodd will join Catalans next season after Souths paid a six-figure sum to get him off their books, a move that will free up the salary cap space to sign out-of-favour Titan David Fifita.

Earmarked as the long-term No.7 replacement for Adam Reynolds, Dodd failed to leave his mark. However, the former St Helens playmaker has no regrets about his decision to test himself in the NRL.
