Some on-screen pairs like Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha, Raj Kapoor and Nargis, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, to name a few, have a solid fan following. Even Ranbir Kapoor agreed to this when he named them as his ‘top on-screen’ pairs, and included two more entries on the list. In a resurfaced interview with People, Ranbir Kapoor reflected on Raj Kapoor and Nargis’ chemistry and the relationship that the Kapoors and the Dutts share.

The actor was asked, “Ranbir, who are your top five onscreen pairs?" Ranbir Kapoor replied, “Raj Kapoor and Nargis. Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha. My parents, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. Shah Rukh and Kajol. And me and her (Deepika Padukone)."
