The Grand Junction Lions Club handed out its final round of checks from the 2025 Grant Recipient Season in a ceremony Tuesday at Warehouse 25sixtyfive, awarding $42,500 in grants to three organizations.
Of that total, $25,000 went to Colorado Discover Ability, contributing to its final balance in the purchase of a new Adventure Van that will benefit 200 participants and volunteers.
The Lions Club funded Colorado Discover Ability’s old van in 2002. Over 157,000 miles later, the club is helping the nonprofit upgrade its ride once again.
