Kate Garraway wasn't 'allowing' herself to grieve over Derek in heartbreaking admission

Kate Garraway has revealed how she began processing her bereavement for her late husband Derek Draper whilst filming Celebrity Traitors .

The Good Morning Britain host, who heartbreakingly lost Derek in January 2024 following an extended battle with illness caused by COVID-19 , discovered that taking part in the programme enabled her to finally face her feelings.

Speaking to Fabulous magazine, she described how the seclusion experienced during filming earlier this year allowed her sorrow to "come out".

She said: "I'm a massive fan of the show, and I thought being completely cut off would be amazing – and it was. It was extraordinary, because you were completely engaged in the game. View 4 I
