For the first time since 2018, the Dallas Mavericks didn't have a certain Luka Doncic present at their media day. While the team is trying to move on without the superstar guard, it looks like the fans aren't completely ready yet.

On Tuesday, Doncic posted a picture from his first media day as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers . It showed him smiling while wearing the team's famous yellow jersey and throwing a behind-the-back pass.

“Year 8 😎🌊,” wrote the 26-year-old playmaker on Instagram.

He will look to lead the Purple and Gold in his first full season with the squad, and it seems he's becoming more and more comfortable in Los Angeles .
