A teen accused of publishing a violent Islamic State promotional video online and sending threats to a Jewish community group has made a bid for bail.

The 18-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was in May charged by counter-terrorism police with offences including publishing extremist material and using a carriage service to make a threat to kill.
