HASSAN: A couple, Sudarshan (32) and Kavya (27), who had suffered serious burn injuries, succumbed on Tuesday night while undergoing under going treatment at the Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru.

A mysterious explosion had occurred at their house in Halealur town in Hassan district at 8.30 pm on Monday.

The couple was initially admitted to a hospital in Hassan on Monday for treatment, but was later shifted to Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru via Zero Traffic for further treatment. Unfortunately, they didn’t survive.

The tragic incident has left their 14-month-old child abandoned, and family members are grief-stricken.
