Coventry City Council has issued an update on Coundon Park Cycleway. The route, intended to create better connections to Coundon Park with new developments at Keresley and schools, has new Toucan crossings in place with lights that are now active on some sections.
Further along the route more are due to be switched on soon. The council revealed the latest news on the cycleway on its social media channels alongside an image of the crossing.
It was captioned: "Exciting progress on Coundon Park Cycleway. The new Toucan crossings on Tamworth Road and Long Lane have been switched on.
"They make it easier for everyone to walk, wheel or cycle. The Brownshill Green Road Toucan crossing will be switched on soon. Later this year, we’ll also be adding new bins, benches, lighting, and new pla
