Glamorgan’s Ben Kellaway has been called up by the England Lions for the tour of Australia this winter. Last year, Kellaway had made headlines for taking wickets while bowling both left-handed and right-handed for Glamorgan against Surrey. The 18-player Lions squad will be shadowing the England cricket team for the first two Ashes Tests Down Under.
Led by Andrew Flintoff, the Lions will face off against the main England side for a practice match in Australia in the lead up to the first Test in Perth in November. The Lions will also face Cricket Australia XI in Perth and the Australia A team in Brisbane alongside the first and second Ashes Tests.
