Spring weather arrived on cue as the first week of the school holidays kicked off, and children and families made the most of it, enjoying a range of activities across Tamworth.

The Tamworth Junior Riding and Pony Club annual spring camp kicked off on Sunday, September 28, with young equestrians primed for the seven-day camp that runs through to Saturday, October 4.

The Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service held a vibrant Cultural Family Fun Day in Bicentennial Park on Tuesday, September 30, to celebrate Aboriginal culture while bringing families together for a day of fun, food and connection.

Highlights included performances by the Gomeroi Dance Academy and Bushtucka Bunjie and cultural activities.
