Geelong’s iconic Mad Monday celebrations, at least in their “current form”, are a thing of the past.
The Cats have been the trailblazers of post-season dress-ups, with media gathering annually to capture their latest efforts, but this week’s antics are set to put a stop to it.

The AFL was “not thrilled” with Geelong players’ Mad Monday costumes and social media behaviour earlier this week, with Bailey Smith having to delete multiple Instagram posts throughout the day.
On Wednesday, the Cats released a statement confirming they would take action.
