Bhubaneswar : Cuttack city, famous for Durga Puja, witnessed two mishaps due to heavy rainfall triggered by a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal. Heavy rainfall has dampened the Dussehra festivities in Cuttack.

According to reports, a light gate at College Chowk Square collapsed due to the downpour, but fortunately, no one was injured as the area was deserted.

However, in Rajabagicha, a puja pandal’s roof collapsed, injuring three people. The incident occurred when the puja was going on. The injured were immediately rescued and admitted to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
