New Delhi, Oct 01: Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the role of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in fostering character development for nation building, asserting that it inspires individuals to shift from ‘I’ to ‘We’.

At the RSS centenary celebration, he highlighted the organization’s unity and commitment to ‘Rashtriya Pratham’ (Nation First), indicating that all sub-organizations work harmoniously towards this goal.

Modi elaborated on the RSS shakhas as essential platforms for the physical, mental, and social growth of volunteers, which contribute to national service and character development.

He paid tribute to the contributions of RSS members during the freedom struggle and remarked on the organization’s resilience in the face of past conspiracies and challenges.
