Mary Fowler will be staying put in the north of England for at least another two years after signing a new contract with Manchester City.

Fowler has extended with the club until the summer of 2027 as she continues her recovery from an ACL injury .

"[It's] really exciting. City has felt like home for me for quite a while now so to continue this journey with them, I'm really proud to do that," she said in a club statement. Advertisement

"Enjoying my football is a big part of me playing well and City has created an environment where I can flourish.

"I love working with the girls who are here."
