The Easton Garlic Fest will take place this weekend at Centre Square, offering a family-friendly event featuring over 100 vendors, live music, kids activities and chef cooking competitions.

The festival runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine. Admission is free for all attendees.

Motorists should prepare for significant road closures throughout the weekend. South Third Street between Centre Square and Ferry Street will close 9 a.m. Friday for a concert and remain closed for the remainder of the weekend. The 300 Block of Pine Street will also close beginning Friday.

More extensive closures begin at 5 a.m. Saturday and continue overnight until 9 p.m. Sunday. Centre Square will be fully closed along with one block extending in each direction.
