On Friday, Sept. 26, with grace and peace, Cynthia “Cindy” (Klever) Leonard, of Bellevue, slipped into eternal rest after a long battle, leaving behind a 76-year legacy of love.
Born in March 1949 in Ephrata, Washington, to Patricia and Wayne Klever, Cindy enjoyed an exciting and love-filled childhood. Together with her three siblings, she journeyed from Washington to Southern California as her father’s work as a pilot and engineer led the family to new horizons. Cindy was always so proud to share that her dad designed the bolts used on the craft that first landed on the moon.
