“I've had several panic attacks,” Susan Rai said. “All that stress was just affecting my lungs, my breathing. I started getting depressed, feeling anxious all the time. Everything was haunting me all at once.”
“My dad's vice was cigarettes,” Susan said. “It affected not just me, but my whole family with secondhand smoke. He was a little bit verbally abusive. He said, ‘You're stupid, you're never going to amount to anything.’ I forgave my dad. I did, but unfortunately it affected me in a very negative way.”
“Fear, unfortunately, had gripped me for years,” Susan said. All of that was just really affecting my lungs, my breathing, my anxiety. I had shortness of breath. I would try to take a whole breath, but I couldn't. I could only take shallow breaths. I love to sing and I couldn't do that
