SRINAGAR, Oct 1: The Income Tax Department carried out raids at multiple locations in Srinagar & Budgam including the residence and business establishment of a local businessman.

Simultaneously, another raid was carried out at his showroom at Brein Nishat.

Teams of income tax officials, accompanied by police, searched the premises and examined documents related to financial transactions.

Raids are part of an ongoing investigation into alleged financial irregularities.
