COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Crews responded after a small aircraft made a crash landing early Wednesday morning in Colorado Springs.

Police said they received several calls at 4:14 a.m. about a small airplane that crashed and was leaking fluid near the intersection of North Powers Boulevard and Barnes Road. Two lanes of southbound Powers Boulevard are blocked.

According to the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD), there were three people on board and no reported injuries.

CSFD said fuel was leaking from the plane, and firefighters worked to stop the leak.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) was notified and is responding to the incident.
