LANCASTER COUNTY, Neb. (KOLN) - One person was airlifted by a medical helicopter after a crash east of Lincoln on Tuesday.

First responders from Eagle and a StarCare helicopter were called to a single-vehicle crash near 148th and O streets at 5:03 p.m. Lancaster County Sheriff deputies were also on scene.

According to LSO, a Dodge Ram pickup was travelling northbound on 148th Street when it left the roadway landing in the west-side ditch. The driver, a 45-year-old man, was wearing a seatbelt.

LSO said the driver was airlifted to Bryan West in Lincoln shortly after the crash with serious injuries.

The Nebraska 511 map shows traffic has slowed on 148th Street, just north of O Street. Traffic is blocked off on south 148th Street
