Hurricane Humberto , a Category 1 storm, continues to move away from the U.S. and is not expected to make landfall, but the East Coast could still experience some impacts , according to the National Hurricane Center.

The storm is spinning around 280 miles north-northwest of Bermuda, with maximum sustained winds of 80 mph, moving northeast at around 14 mph, according to a 5 a.m. ET advisory on Wednesday, Oct. 1
