Russian President Vladimir Putin is likely to visit India on 5-6 December, according to Zee Business sources, marking his first trip to India since the onset of the Ukraine war. The two-day visit is expected to centre on deepening strategic, defence and economic ties between Moscow and New Delhi. According to the sources, during Putin's visit, India and Russia are expected to finalise major defence agreements, including additional units of the S-400 air-defence system, technology transfer for the Su-57 stealth fighter and possible collaboration on the advanced S-500 programme.
