Staff from Blair Drummond Safari Park have detailed how they assisted police following a series of collisions on the A84 , near the attractions main entrance, as five crashes occurred on the stretch in less than a month over the summer.
Residents in Blairdrummond have launched their own safety campaign for the route, urging Transport Scotland to ‘act now’ to protect drivers and locals.
A petition has been launched over the issue, attracting more than 1,300 signatures so far.
Responding to five collisions, the park’s Operations Supervisor, Graeme Alexander, told how staff there raced to assist the emergency response.
