ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A suspected drunk driver was hospitalized and taken into custody overnight Wednesday after striking two homes with a vehicle in north St. Louis County.
According to the St. Louis County Police Department, the crash happened shortly before 1:40 a.m. on the 10500 block of Murat Drive.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a single vehicle that had crashed into two homes, causing significant damage to both.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital for treat injuries sustained in the crash. Additionally, the driver was taken into police custody for a suspected DWI.
No other injuries were reported in the crash, police said. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
