Bowling Green State University President Rodney Rogers is being rewarded for record-breaking enrollment and student success.
At Friday’s meeting, the university trustees gave him a 2 percent annual salary increase, retroactive to Sept. 1 and a discretionary bonus of 20 percent of base salary.
His previous annual salary was $542,400, and his new pay with the raise is $553,248; 20 percent of his salary is $108,480.
In their resolution, the trustees cited President Rogers’ significant contributions to advancing BGSU’s strategic plan.
The university has record-breaking enrollments and student success rates for the second consecutive year, and is welcoming its largest and highest achieving freshman class in history, the resolution stated. Over 4,000 students started the academic year with
