Asian Cricket Council (ACC) chief Mohsin Naqvi has responded to the bubbling controversy about the Asia Cup 2025 trophy. He said he was ‘ready to’ hand over the silverware to India after they beat Pakistan by five wickets in Dubai, and he is ‘still ready now’, asking Suryakumar Yadav’s men to collect it from him at the ACC office.

Naqvi, who also heads the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Interior Ministry of Pakistan, also rebuffed media reports that he apologized to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officials in the recent meeting of the ACC. He said he had done ‘nothing wrong’ and would never apologize.
