New Delhi: Jannik Sinner continued his excellent run after he bagged the China Open title on Wednesday with a dominant performance in the final match. Up against American teenager Learner Tien, Sinner didn’t take much time to dispatch the second-youngest player in the tournament final 6-2, 6-2 to earn his third title of the season.
It was Sinner’s 21st career title overall which made the Italian tennis player well prepared ahead of the Shanghai Masters. After his disappointment at the US Open, this comes as big booster for the 24-year-old tennis player. He next goes to Shanghai where he will be the favourite after Carlos Alcaraz, who won the Japan Open title on Tuesday, withdrew due to an ankle injury sustained in the first round of the ATP tournament.
After the title-winning victory, S
