BOYNE FALLS, MI - Michigan’s Up North resorts are typically known for golf and skiing. But a couple of them also keep stables of horses that are available for everything from trail rides to equine “experiences” for even the youngest horse fans.

Boyne Mountain and its sister resort, The Highlands at Harbor Springs , both keep horses on site. Guests and day trippers alike can make reservation for fall color trail rides and other horse-related activities being offered at each spot.
