A man was wrestled to the ground after becoming agitated inside a pharmacy.

He flew into a rage after reportedly taking the drug known as monkey dust.

Footage shows the man pacing up and down the Norfolk Street Pharmacy in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, before barging behind the counter.

Staff managed to wrestle the wild-eyed man and restrain him on the floor for 15 minutes before police arrived on Friday, September 29.

Pharmacist Navid Kaleem says monkey dust was “destroying” his city and released the footage to raise awareness about the epidemic.
